ファッション業界からカナダへの単身渡航を経て、2026年にMon Wayを設立。
現在はライフデザインコーチ、著者、コミュニティ運営者として、一人ひとりが自分らしい「紋」を咲かせ、
自分らしく「道」を歩むためのコーチングやコミュニティづくりを行っています。
また、日本の伝統文化に携わる方々の想いを言葉にし、企業・教育機関・サポーター・コミュニティなど、
国内外のさまざまなご縁へとつなぐ、文化継承コーディネートにも取り組んでいます。
日本で約10年間ファッション業界に携わった後、祖父の遺言であった「世界に通用する、立派な日本人になりましょう」という言葉を胸に、
2021年末、言葉も知り合いもいないカナダ・バンクーバーへ渡りました。
異国の地で人生をゼロから築き直しながら、フローリスト、ライター、インタビュアーとして活動し、多様な国籍や価値観を持つ人々と出会いました。
その中で何度も問い続けたのは、「自分らしい生き方とは何か」。
試行錯誤の末に最後に残ったのは、「日本人としての誇りと精神」でした。
柔道に情熱を注ぎ、その根底に禅の教えを持っていた父から、
渡航の際にかけられた言葉は「地球人になれ」。
日本を離れてみて気づいたのは、地球人になるためには、まず自分が何者かを知らなければならないということでした。
海外生活を通して再発見したのは、日本文化の奥に流れる精神性の素晴らしさでした。
相手を思いやり、感謝すること。
調和を大切にすること。
自分自身を磨き続けること。
目の前のことに心を尽くすこと。
それらは、国や文化を超えて人の心を動かす普遍的な智慧だと感じています。
カナダで永住権を取得後、2025年に日本へ帰国し、Mon Way を設立。
ライフデザインコーチ、著者、コミュニティ運営者としての活動とともに、
日本の伝統文化に携わる職人・作家・団体の方々の想いや哲学を言葉にし、
国内外の企業や教育機関とつないでいく文化継承コーディネーターとしての活動にも力を注いでいます。
異国の地で一度すべてを手放し、ゼロから人生を築き直した経験があるからこそ、迷いながらも一歩を踏み出そうとする人、
そして次世代へその想いをつなごうとする文化の担い手たちの可能性を、私は信じています。

Mon Way Founder｜Life Design Coach｜Author｜Cultural Heritage Coordinator
After building a career in the fashion industry in Japan, I moved to Canada on my own and founded Mon Way in 2026.
Today, as a life design coach, author, and community builder, I support people in letting their own Mon bloom and walking the Way that is true to who they are,
through coaching and community.
I also work as a Cultural Heritage Coordinator, putting into words the spirit behind Japan’s traditional crafts and culture,
and connecting them with companies, educational institutions, supporters, and communities, both in Japan and around the world.
After spending nearly ten years in Japan’s fashion industry, I carried with me the final words of my grandfather:
“Become a Japanese person who can stand proudly on the world stage.”
At the end of 2021, I left for Vancouver, Canada, knowing no one and speaking very little English.
While rebuilding my life from the ground up in a foreign country, I worked as a florist, writer, and interviewer, meeting people from diverse cultures, nationalities, and backgrounds.
Throughout that journey, one question stayed with me:
What does it truly mean to live authentically?
After years of searching, the answer I found was unexpectedly simple:
My identity as a Japanese person—and the spirit that lies at the heart of Japanese culture.
Before I left Japan, my father, who devoted his life to judo and was deeply influenced by Zen philosophy, gave me one piece of advice:
“Become a citizen of the world.”
Ironically, living abroad taught me that before becoming a global citizen, I first had to understand who I truly was.
What I rediscovered overseas was not simply the beauty of Japanese traditions, but the timeless values that flow beneath them:
- Respect and consideration for others
- Gratitude
- Harmony
- A lifelong commitment to self-improvement
- Devoting oneself wholeheartedly to the present moment
I believe these are universal principles that resonate across cultures and connect people beyond borders.
After obtaining permanent residency in Canada, I returned to Japan in 2025 and founded Mon Way.
Alongside my work as a Life Design Coach, author, and community builder, I am also dedicated to serving as a cultural heritage coordinator.
In this role, I help artisans, creators, and organizations involved in Japan’s traditional culture express their philosophies and stories through words, while connecting them with companies and educational institutions both in Japan and abroad.
Having once let go of everything and rebuilt my life from the ground up in a foreign country, I deeply believe in the potential of those who are bravely taking their next step despite uncertainty, as well as the cultural stewards who are committed to passing their values and traditions on to future generations.
Career
